Ladies and gentlemen, children
of all wages; we have the answer to your prayers. It doesn’t come after four
monthly installments of $29.99 and it sure as hell won’t stop that kid in the
grade below from stealing your lunch money. It will, however, give you hope for
a future with better music… in a time where most of the music industry has gone
to the dogs.
Introducing ‘Saw Loser’. If you don’t like it, you’ll probably love it.
Comprising of Mas
(Guitar), Jimmy (Bass) and brothers Lucky (Vocals) & Matt
(Drums) – the bands average age is 21. Not only are the boys young but they are
from all corners of the globe; Japan, USA
and Australia.
The band name (a play on words
of the age old saying ‘Sore Loser’) stems from the horror film ‘Saw’ – a
favorite with all the band members.
Since forming in October 2005, Saw Loser has supported artists such as
Fall Out Boy, Beastie Boys and Jurassic 5 – and toured the world
extensively. More recently the band toured Indonesia playing crowds of up to
60,000 people. The band also recently headlined shows in Tokyo and Singapore,
with a turn out of 3,000 people per show.
As for the music, it can be
described as pop/punk/rock/swing – however, it really can’t be
compared to any other artist!
Saw
Loser recently released their self titled debut through Universal Music.
The singles ‘Mr. Know It All’ and ‘Big Shot’ can be seen on MTV
ASIA and heard on radio stations across Asia.
Whether you have randomly read
about them in Rolling Stone magazine, heard about them through friends or
stumbled upon them by accident – we can assure you it won’t be the last time you
hear the name ‘Saw Loser’.
Saw
Loser will spend 2008 touring the globe in support of their self titled debut
release, which is available through Universal Music Singapore and Japan.
Rest
assured, Saw Loser will be bustin’ knee caps in a town near you…
